![]() They're on the same platform, just a few steps back from the terminal. The seeds themselves are very close to their respective terminals. One for the right side of the room, and one for the left. Once the enemies are taken care of, we need two power seeds. This room is mostly Grunts and Jackals after that, so just be smart, using the cover to your advantage and not getting surrounded by too many enemies at once. Once you're within firing distance of the sniper, eliminate it. Start working your way there along the wall. Once the Brutes are taken care of, there's a sniper on the left of the room. That will make this room much easier to navigate. You should be able to get him from here with the Commando, or a similar weapon. There's also a Brute manning the turret in the back. You can deploy the Drop Wall right after entering to make him an easy target. In here, there's a Brute patrolling the floor you'll want to get first. Proceed down the ramp into the next room. So just keep your distance and you should be fine. ![]() Just like when you use the shotgun against enemies, it's much more effective at close range. Watch out for the Brute with the shotgun. The pathway to the next room is in the back corner of this area. Or if you grabbed the Commando earlier this mission, you can zoom in on the Jackal and take him out. To get around this, you can draw enemies to the entrance hallway and take them out from there where the sniper can't reach you. There is a Jackal sniper at the top back of the room. Turn left immediately after you enter the room to get the Jackal. From the hallway, you can take out the two Grunts at the front of the room. That way, nothing can really sneak up behind you, and it's easy to backtrack for cover if needed. After you place it, the door will open and you can head to the enemies in the next room.Ī great strategy for missions in tight corridors like this is to stick in the hallway by the door as long as you can. The power seed is located on the platform straight ahead of you. Once the enemies are taken out, we need a power seed to open the door. When you see him, you can use the Drop Wall to protect yourself. Watch out for one more Elite that will come up the ramp. You can hide in this corner and let the Grunts come to you. Stick to the left side to take out the jackal and the elite. If you're playing on a higher difficulty, you'll want to take care of one thing at a time. There are also plenty of Grunts patrolling this area. When you enter this room, you'll see a Jackal high and to the left, and an Elite further back in the room. Take what you want and move to the next room. The commando rifle could be helpful for the next room if you don't have a weapon that can scope. There's a weapon rack in this room with a shotgun and a commando rifle. If your Drop Wall has regenerated, you can use it now to take out the Elite as well. ![]() When you enter the next room, you should be able to surprise and take out a Brute and a Grunt with the blast coil. Once the Brutes are clear, grab a blast coil from this room and head into the next one. You can shoot through the Drop Wall, but enemies have to wear it down before their bullets get through to you. Now is a great time to try out your drop wall for the first time. ![]() You'll enter a room with two Brutes to the right. Kill the lone Grunt and begin your descent into the Conservatory. #Despondent pyre upgrade#You can also upgrade the Drop Wall with the Spartan Cores you've been picking up along the way.Īfter you pick up the Drop Wall, a door will open to the left. It can be very helpful right when you enter a new room, as it can protect the front of you where the fire is coming from, while the doorway you came through can protect your six. You can deploy this to give yourself cover from foes. Investigate the fallen Spartan to unlock the Drop Wall. It's time to get Chief's next piece of equipment.
